Axcelis has a focused ion-implant franchise, a sizable installed-base service layer, strong cash and investment liquidity, and Veeco optionality. The hard part is that power and mature-node digestion have pulled revenue down, backlog is lower, export controls matter, and the next leg needs memory strength to become orders instead of just commentary.
